Download the appropriate set of benchmark images for the desired pair of channels.
Open this set of images in the quantitative colocalization analysis software you are using, and calculate the colocalization coefficients.
Compare the coefficient values obtained from your images with those from the benchmark images. Identify the benchmark image whose values most closely match yours, and use its colocalization score to describe your results.
If needed, you can split merged channels images into single channels images using CoLocalizer Pro software.
